I'm struggling to see how you can't quickly post a thread and add photos like you do on Facebook I've just tested it, it's the same amount of clicks lolI'm not trying to dig you out mate, I've got way more respect for you than that, I just want to be able to use this forum again like I used to, simple quick and easy, no messing. That's all I'm trying to get at.
And this is pretty much what I'm getting at, all this fancy stuff that I'm sure is very useful but, all people want to know is what's new, can I contribute, if not I'll just mark the forums read and carry on.I have to agree with Bri that there is a lot going on but I tend to just look at "New Posts" and when that gets up to the hundreds just mark all forums read.
I'll never have to concern myself about entering JOTM.
That's not actually what most people do. I have the stats to show it. Most people here are new and are able to post new threads just fine.
They won't see the new posts page, or have hundreds stacking up, they're new.
That's okay i just top it with fact lol to keep us in the loop.I'm only giving my opinion![]()
Yeah told the wife I was looking for Mongolian tribal horses when I typed in Asian ***, my cheek is still sore!Dan - I like it!
So just you tell them the facts and call them naughty words - a change is as good as a rest - and I never complain.
Used properly this forum can add a significant amount of work and exceptional contacts to our businesses and for that I'am grateful. It gave me the opportunity to work in the south when I needed to be down there and to this day it allows the choice of work to be varied and interesting.
If members focus on just a few hiccups and failed photos to vent their frustrations then where would we be without the Tilers Forum - my wife originally thought I was spending my time on **** sites, but was relieved and annoyed that I was ignoring her for work. But now she just rolls her eyes and says ' stop annoying people' - me!
Stunner. Haha..Dan - I like it!
