Help Please. Grout residue on brazilian slate floor !!!

Hi everyone, I have just laid a 65 metre floor for a customer on anhydrate screed. i sealed the slate first with stain stop and grouted with bal flexigrout grey. Although i thought i had cleaned off all grout residue there is still a very small amount on the face in places. Although it is a small amount the customer doesnt want to see any at all. What ddo you guys recomend? In the past i have used lithofin slate seal satin sealer and this has darkened the residue so that it could hardly be seen. On this job though the customer wishes for a completely matt finish. Is there a matt sealer which will darken/help disguise the whiteness of the grout? Any advise greatly appreciated. Just clean the grout residue off the slate and re seal. You shouldn't leave any grout on the tiles when the job is complete and certainly don't try to seal over it to hide the residue. As for a matt finish - I don't believe it's possible as all sealants leave a sheen at first which fades as it ages.

You can get ltp colour intensifier that leaves a matt finish

As above or LTP Mattstone.. both matt finish if yo buff off excess sealer..

But you must remove excess grout.. use a grout residue remover to do this..

Thanks for the replies guys. I have spent ages thinking of the best course of action. it looks like a day of elbow greese is on the cards. im just not sure what product to use to remove the residue. Anybody used HG limex? Also i spoke to the customer today and he is happy with the finish that lithofin stainstop achieves - he just wants the grout residue removed. Anybody had this problem? If so what did you do ?

It is really down to not washing off properly.... so you need to make the floor finish acceptable for the customer..

Damm i could kick myself for not washing down again whilst still wet. So the damage is done and i now have to put it right. I guess what i really want to know is what product will definately get the grout residue off. As they have already been sealed with stain stop would i be correct in thinking that if i use something like lithofin waxoff this would strip off the stain stop and as the grout residue is on top of the stain stop this would come off also?
