The tile spacing seems to be the key on this one, if you can't remove the cill id go back to 2mm...would look better with no L-cuts if possible. Still thinking that window can be centred and if you've got boards to go on the reveals can it not be made to the exact width of a tile?

Apparently removing the cill might expose the bottom of the
window, will check tomorrow.
There's a new upvc window, prob at inch leeway on each side, bit more top/bottom. Agree, 2mm might be needed again.

The first plan is centred in the cut tiles whilst keeping the bond on the right.
The window is 4" wider than a tile, centring it always loses the bond on the right so it looks stacked, like Tony_C thought, also we get a small cut in the corner.

These are light whitewash tiles, white grout, so the bond line isn't so visible if we really had to lose it.

Ah didn't realise it was so much wider and left that sliver up Lh corner, scrap that then think back to Tony's idea at the top of your last images
 ...be nice if you can make full tile head and cill of the window work

Guys, a quick update to this. Based on the views of many of you on here it has been decided to ditch the BCT tiles once I tested how absorbant the backs were. I just don't trust them in the bathroom esp as BCT are no longer around to cover future issues. Even the edges right at the top of the grout line take in water much more than other ceramics.
Now on the look out for a similar wood effect, similar size. So many these days are 600x300 or metro!
Thanks again for your help!
