photo-3.jpgphoto-2.jpgHi there
We are currently living in rented accommodation and are moving in about two weeks.
When we moved into the property we had the Aga serviced, this required removal of the tiles that sat in the corner that joined the wall tiles. This we thought was no problem, we thought we would be able to find these tiles very easily as they are just corner tiles and a black gloss ceramic finish.
I have come to buy these tiles and they're not so readily available, in fact it would be fair to say they are none existent.... on my searches at least.
The tiles themselves have obviously been manufactured at some point for some purpose, but I have no idea where to get them from, can anyone advise?? They are just curved to a 90 degree angle, having an edge that sits flush with the wall, and an edge that sits flush with the aga. I have attached a picture for ease of understanding my explanation!
Any help or advice would be appreciated, we need to get this repaired very soon!
Many thanks Natalie

Thank you for your answer - I now know what purpose they were made for so can continue to search. Are there any other solutions that would enable me to attach a tile with a straight edge to the same gap??

Again I have attached a picture so you can see the gap I am talking about!

Many thanks for your help.

thanks for your help and possible solutions, I have something to work with and should be able to find a suitable solution.

Thanks again!! :2thumbsup:

Does it need to be black? Could you replace with a white one to match the wall tiles? These are easily found, any tile store should be able to get them in. It is difficult to see from the pics if a white one will look OK.

We have a very fussy land lady and ideally, at the start of this search, would have liked black, I think a cream tile would do the trick though. Black is clearly not in general manufacture anymore so that's the best anyone would be able to do without spending a fortune. Thanks for your help.

Have you thought of trying someone like Twyford Cookers.com. They renovate Aga stove so may have come across a similar problem regarding sourcing tiles etc ?
