Hi all,
What do you charge per sq.m ? or you do day /hour rates? Have done 130 sq.m a week ago and send invoice. Floor was only up to 6mm in high difference, but client wanted it perfect. Just want to see if I was not too cheap....
Thanks

Floor layers get nothing near this commercially because for them it's more important to be smooth than level whereas for a tiler it's more important to be level than smooth which is harder to achieve. I charge £4 per mtr per coat or a min half days wage domesticcally, which ever is more. Considering you'll easily level 100 metres by lunch time it's a good opurtunity to make a few quid imo.

Absolutely agree Lee,
If it's a small area, by the day or part of.
Large area...... by the metre!
Has to be done, opportunities like that can increase the value of the work quite considerably.
