Views on size spacer on 60x40 trav 2mm or 3mm is it a personal choice or is there pros and cons to a diff size spacer !!

2 for walls 3 for floors. Just personal choice really.
Always minimum 3mm on floor and I prefer to match on wall with 3mm

I think 2mm on rectified edges looks a bit small so I normally go for 3mm with trav

If your doing small joints a finer grout would be better used rather than the sandy ones....

There you go Midland. Its a personal thing is grout sizes. I'm going to bed before it all starts kicking off. There will be infractions issued within the hour🙂

I do like to see 2mm on wall and 3mm on floor unless it's all in same room and I like to try and continue the line from wall to floor where poss.so would use the same ! And 3mm does give you that bit of play if trav is slightly out !!

personally I'd use 3mm on trav, personal choice.
Topps travertine i would go for 5mm !!!!!! Only kidding, I would do 3mm for the walls and floor.

never have and never will use spacers when tiling a floor......so zero for me..lol
nope , do it all by eye, and straight edges....when you get some more experience you may be able to do the same..:smilewinkgrin:
