Which Mapei

Hi,

I have about 25 Sq mtr of Porcelain tiles to lay on 4 year old concrete screed floor.
I read that Mapei seems to be the big hit with the forum.

So I was hoping that someone could confirm which Mapei is best or will do the job?
Do I need to prime a 4 year old screed concrete floor with chosen Mapei adhesive?
Where in UK to get the Adhesive? I noticed Screw Fix sell Mapei products but not what I think I might need ( Elastorapid or granirapid )

You're right, Mapei is a popular choice. Do you have Tile Giant store near you? They stock Mapei and will point you in the right direction. Priming the floor is recommended with Primer G before tiling. Are you planning on installing underfloor heating?

If you phone mapei they'll tell you of your nearest supplier. You'll get the number online

No UFH and don't have a Giant store nearby.

I would go for keraquick myself, brilliant adhesive. Do you have much tiling experience? Only if not you might be better off with a standard setting adhesive. Have a look through the link below.
