Evening all, I have got to quote for a kitchen floor 600x600 porcaline. Problem being is that the floor is part concrete (with lots of ady from the previous jobs) and some tiles still there! The other half is chipboard.

Obviously I need the floor to be as flat as possible when laying vitrified tiles. Not really sure what approach to take and how much time/cost to account for? Was thinking of either putting down a latex screed or using ditra matting which would help the movement problem between the two substrates,

thanks for any advice

why not go with the ditra?the chipboard might need plyed out though especially if its the green treated flooring.imo

The adhesive will need to be removed and if you need to ply out the chipboard then the concrete side will need to be raised which can be done with using backerboards to get the two substrates level.I hope this helps.
