So Iwas just wondering as ive seen it and done it both ways, but Is it best to fully tile the walls where the bath will be fitted? Or fit the bath onto fully tiled walls?

what is the best practice?

What would be your opinion if you were the customer?

Always fit the bath, seal then tile.
In Germany and some Scandinavian countries they tile completely and then fit the bath.
The baths there have a square edge, ours have more of a radius, so would need a very large silicone seal.

Tank wall where bath is going, fit bath with classy seal, silicone classy seal to tanked wall, tile down to bath and finish with bead of silicone, same for shower trays.
