We have a company memo that Nathan makes. But it is on our Intranet so it doesn't have Nathans name on it.

Sign up mate then visit a store, the prices are excellent and as has been said ten fold they beat CTD etc.

You can now sign up online, and its only a cash account your signing up to, no contracts, no min spend etc, very little effort is required to sign up, it literally takes two minutes then everything else will be put in place and sent to you.

This really is a good offer from our sponsor and everyone should be getting behind it and signing up. Every saving possible in this climate is going to help so dont look this gift hoarse in the mouth.

If you have already sent it to Dan, dont worry, it has probably been set up. If you pm your name and postcode I can check for you. Your card usually takes about a week to arrive but once you are set up on the system then you can still use it straight away, just quote your name and post code in store and they should be able to find you.

Not everyone likes the mapei rapid set due to there potlife of 20 mins is far too short and you end up mixing all day. However KF has a pot life of 8hrs and can be used on just about all subs with any tile, seems like Tile Giant could be loosing out on custom.

Anyone able to explain the reason behind this?

I can take a stab at the reason why, but it will be a pure guess and not official :lol:

I would imagine the products on the extra discount list are products TG as a company sell alot of. If Keraflex only sells well in a couple of stores, I don't think it would be added to the extra TF discount.

i dont think keraflex sells in ONLY A COUPLE OF STORES!,
mapei is the fastest growing adhesive company in the world,
and no doubt tile giant make a good profit from the adhesives they supply your company!

not to mention that in my local tile giant there stuff seems to be your main adhesive supplier if not your only adhesive supplier!

but i do understand that this is the companys BREAD AND BUTTER!

and personally i think tile giant will overtake topps as they stock bal,
which in my opnion is a lesser product!

i only ask because in the stores nearest me, brixton, old kent, dulwich and croydon you can hardly move for the bags of addy!

We only sell Mapei addys. So, there is no other slowset, SPF. Keraquick is probably one of our biggest selling addys. I think every store has a huge amount of addy in stock, as we sell ALOT.

Now that I have dug a hole for myself, hopefully Nathan will give the official reason as to why Keraflex isn't on the extra discount list :lol:

Talking of keraquick does anyone use it on walls day in day out or is it still too rapid setting for that, its seems to set slow on the floor so wondering if anyone has experience of using a rapid setting adheisve on the walls ?

contacted nathan and changed my account, taking advantage of new discount went in got my grout after quick phone call to nathan from store manager, got my new price fantastic.......... popped in to rival supplier 3 doors down 3 pounds cheaper ! so for me it doesn`t work. but would be good if the stores had knowledge of forum and whats going on.
