starting tiling at the weekend. full bathroom with tumbled marble border. bought lithofin stain stop. and wondering how to go about sealing. i am going to seal prior to laying and before grouting. is this correct. also how many coats? and what do you all use to apply the sealer. thanks ian

Hi

When you say tumbled marble border what is it / colour and is the field tile stone ??

Fix then and grout them, clean sponge to get residue off then a dry cloth to buff b4 sealing.

No need to seal b4 fixing they will wipe up no prob. NOTE this border is thinner than a standard tile so may need packing out.

cheers

No roller, it can froth and creates bubbles and bubbles stay in stain stop.

Use a cloth like you find in a roll for washing cars
