Show Us YOUR Work Thread - Tilers Pictures

Edit May 2024: THIS is a New Show Us Your Work Thread for 2024 Onwards

This is the new Tilers Showcase Forum where we want new tiling work added, with each tiling job you complete having a thread of its own so people can see what kind of work you do, and potential customers can find your work

I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to all members of Tilers forums to show us any work that they do.

Be it from installing a kitchen to garden decking. Show us your work! Get those pictures taken, but then do something with them! Actually add them to a thread and some facebook groups with your website link in them etc and it'll help spread the tile love. 🙂

If you have done a job then please do share it with us.

Pics are a MUST as what is the point of sharing a job without them...

So if you do a job and you take a few pics then please do share it with us.

Lets make it a big thread for all to view and input in.

Thanks Dave ..:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Can I post pics here of the job as it goes on? Today has been the preparation day. Tiling starts tomorrow.

SAM_0114.jpgSAM_0104.jpgSAM_0115.jpgHi Guys

Nothing special this one but worked out well . The customer was convinced she didn't want coloured grout , so grey it was - which at the time of pics was still wet .

The most useful tool for this job was my 600 mm set square! 😱) - not to mention the knee pads .

some progress pics. totally a DIY effort considering we started this job on Saturday

Mr GRR will be cleaning the tiles again tonight to remove the last of the dust, and then will be siliconing the edges before moving all the appliances back in to the utility room. loo and basin will stay out until we've finished plastering the walls behind them where big chunks of finish coat came off when we prised them from the wall 😳

Stunning Gary as usual. Do you ever do any bathrooms without a pitched ceiling though?

 That was my first thought, for a second I did wonder if it was the same one he did in a black granite (i think?) and they had changed their mind! as the layout looked similar at first glance

Gary.. Top top install mate..🙂.. i quite like that..

Pete.. you is getting good at this tiling lark..🙂.. Thanks for sharing liz.

do you mean this one Rob with the mosaic steam room in it ?

The chocalate brown one is on a job in West Sussex tiled last summer, I usually try and talk customers out of tiling on angled ceilings lol

almost finished. Silicon hasn't been done yet and the sanitary ware needs to go back in at some point too, but I am actually quite impressed with myself for picking the tiles and grout, and it looking so nice and modern. Mr GRR has done a good job with the hard work and I've just had to clean the tiles 3 times over :mad2:
