Bought these today to try them out , I usually hate wearing safety trainers because I find them heavy and clumsy , but these are surprisingly light , anyone else got these ??

A brickie I know bought something similar for site work and the health and safety guy was'nt to keen on them, prefered boots.

Suppose its different for a brickie though isn't it,don't want ya ankle to give way on a scaffold lol

Fair comment Ash, the reasoning behind it was from H&S guy was that if other trades saw them they would tempted to buy the trainer type and he was'nt having none of it... MR tea bag

tbh even on site I only wear boots until im in the property then I get the trainers out lol, unless im not on my knees in that case I leave them on.... they are a pain on the toes for me

I've just bought a pair of Site ones from screwfix, only started wearing them yesterday so I'll let you know how I get on with them and, more importantly, how long they last.
