Hi Kilty,

Everything looks really nice. I like the strip running through the floor and up the back wall of the shower.

What are the two galvanized nipples that are sticking out of the wall to the left of the shower? Before I started setting tile, I worked for a plumber. I have noticed on this site and a site based in Australia that plumbing is done a bit differently than here in the US and Canada, and it's interesting to learn about the way things are done in the UK.

Nice! I would love to have hydronic heat in my house. Forced-air systems are much more the norm in many markets in the US. Many of you have mentioned boilers in your own houses and the jobs you work, so it seems that hydronic heat is more common in the UK.

I have worked on a few jobs where they had hot water running through the slab. That is really, really nice heat. The job we are on now is an old house with iron radiators. We like to put our sweatshirts on the radiators and warm them up before going out into the cold to go to the trucks. :laugh2:

You've done a good, neat job Kilty..I'm sure your client was very pleased and will be spreading the word about you, which will do your reputation/business a lot of good...have a beer for you hard work:8:

That's a really nice job - I particularly like the vertical border continued across the floor :santa_smiley:
