iv done a job with glass boarders strips had to build the out to match thickness of ceramic field tile...next day they looked patchey where adsive was and was not thers a thin film on back of strip...shud i have jst got a better bed of adhesive...used tub gear..

You should skim the back of glass tiles with the adhesive prior to fixing, the problem with glass tiles is that you can see the adhesive through them, back skimming puts a coat of addy on the back solving the problem.

Edit: you should have peeled of the plastic strip off the back aswell before fixing, the problem is that the strip is just sticky, and stuck to the back of the tile, if you've left it on then the plastic not the tile is stuck to the addy.

Something like BAL mosaic would do this job well. I know that Mapai do an equivilent but I don't know what it is.

The good news is that if you haven't taken the backing strip off you may be able to salvage the tiles, clean out the addy and start again.

iwould try to remove the border clean them up remove backing paper and back skim them as suggested by oli
