I haven’t but I’d like to do one, it would be interesting.

I’m tempted to do a feature wall. Cutting the tiles myself. Just not sure which size to cut the tiles down to from 1200 x 600

Hand on heart I’ve never done a single herringbone job, ever.

Well I won't be rushing to do another one of these. It's good 'cos I don't fear the 45 herringbone anymore and with big tiles I'd be totally happy doing large floors (even multi room) or walls.
The tiny white tiles with anthracite grout, sloping ceiling, alcove and having to cut outside made this very tedious.
Just waiting on the bespoke glass and final fix of shower before total completion but here's some pics:

To be fair to the BCT floor tiles they've withstood a cast iron bath with 4 x 25mm diameter metal feet/discs each taking 50kg. 80kg when it's being used.

Not my cup of tea (the customers' wife got the look from Pinterest) - the owner made a good job on the cladding with a couple of sheets of MDF

I decided against mirroring - was a mistake though as I should have allowed a bigger cut than the 45 corner cut off. A slightly bigger cut would have made my life easier as I ran out a bit on the side walls and it was a struggle to get the joints to match. Lesson learned and won't make that mistake again.

Respect for that herringbone. You can see the work involved!

What’s in the niche? Looks like a tile or is it glass?
