Hi guys and girls,
Has anyone used or know anyone whos used the above saw and what its like. Have 66sqM of Large format Travertine to put down and only have a Briccollina - although good, the tiles are a bit large for its base. Any others that are good alternatives?
Cheers in advance.

just ordered one from dave at tradetiler same as you got a large job to do been told its the best wet saw around a bit pricey at £700 but if it saves time it will be money well spent! let you know tommorow when i get it how it cuts !

dave the cutting wheel on the dewalt 24000 will it cut all tiles or will i need extra discs for it?

Have a dewalt for about a month, Have done over a 100m of trav with it and it is very good,(it does leave the underside of the tile very wet but this is a small problem)I'm very happy with it and the service from tradetiler , the blade by the way will cut everything.

hi

If you don't mind cutting outside, use a mini grinder & turbo blade.

Fraction of the outlay - but depends as to how much tiling you do to justify the cost:thumbsup:

Plus you don't get wet - only choke to death:lol:

A dry cutting grinder will not cut a piece 10mm wide off a 600x600 trav tile!!!

Your obviously not trying hard enough.

Use a solid bed, sand under tile & voila:thumbsup:

Get the occasional break, but no different to overhead cutter - depends where the natural fissures are in the travertine.
