The down of birds is a layer of fine feathers found under the tougher exterior feathers. Very young birds are clad only in down. Powder down is a specialized type of down found only in a few groups of birds. Down is a fine thermal insulator and padding, used in goods such as jackets, bedding (duvets), pillows and sleeping bags. The discovery of feathers trapped in ancient amber suggests that some species of dinosaur may have possessed down-like feathers.

use grip to stick a few tiles down?

Whats everyone using to stick down Ditra or durabase onto Ply subtrate
Just wanted to see what you guys are using to fix Durabase or Ditra to a ply subtrate. Interesting for me as I have switched across to using a vinyl acrylic adhesive as it is a more economical option. It seems I am always late to the party!- Jeff the tiler

water running down the side of the bath
Just wonderd what the best way to seal a bath when theres 20mm gap between the bath and the wall.. I dont fancy bringing the wall down just to bring it forward so was thinking of getting some quadrant trim and sealing it in?... Not my tiling btw lmao- Mr T

can we fix ditra mat down with a gypson adhesive ?
we have 80 m floor to tile which has been layed for 4 weeks now and it is a gyvlon screed type it has underfloor heating which has been on for 10 days now we would like to stick a ditra mat down to screed with a gypson based adhesive has anybody used this method as we r getting mixed comments... -
