Depends on how absorbant or how dusty it maybe..a new floor screed should'nt need priming but if theres an old self leveling and a new one is going on top for example then I would prime..

D DHTiling Oct 9, 2011 #8 SBR is a good all round primer... Priming screeds is really only for dusty surfaces or to consolidate quite porous ones etc..
