I have just got a job... basically I have agreed to rip up an existing hardwood tongue and groove floor that goes right through the ground floor...
But he only wants the kitchen tiling. The floor goes under all the units, wall to wall, so I have got to chop the flooring around the unit feet!! (the floor is about 20-25mm thick)
And chop a straight line under each door entrance.

What would you use to do this?

Multitool?
Grinder? (what type of disc can be used)

It also goes under the skirting.. I am worried there will be a big gap, once I have layer tiles!!

I've had to do this before and used a reciprocating saw, to be fair it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. I assume the t&g is straight onto joists?
