Nope. Just tile adhesive. S1 is preferable in my opinion but not S2.
From memory, Wedi even say a non-flex adhesive will do.
Oddly they say you should screw the boards AFTER the adhesive has set. Don't know why and I screw them as I go instead.


Could end up with lots of dips and bows perhaps...

Think there's a cartridge glue for fixing the boards,seats etc together
Wedi 610 it's called. Not for sticking boards to floors, rather it's used for joining boards. The principle is - stick blue to blue (the foam core) and it's a waterproof joint.

I can see the benefit of screwing after, it's not gonna compress the board and squash the adhesive about and cause dips. Do you crack on with walking on it and tiling it before the adhesive has set ?

I must admit, I've recently stuck no more ply down with s1 and screws onto some floorboard rooms due to particularly in even and rough flooring and it does feel
More solid than using there glue
