Hi, I'm new to the forum. I've registered in an urgent bid to find some discontinued tiles called FLORENCIA GRIS. Used to be able to get them from Topps Tiles. They think they are Porcelanosa. I've written to them, but no results. Does anyone have 20 stashed in a corner? I may need other tiles in the future too.

Topps Tiles have a tile finder service thing. They can check stock in all stores from any one, just in case the odd store has a few, you might find there are enough in the company to sort you out. Have you tried them?

Hi, my boyfriend is just tried them. Nothing. And I've had a reply from Porcelanosa and they say don't have any, but I can go to their showroom and find something similar. Great marketing opportunity for them! Ha ha! You know, I just have a feeling, there are some out there, but finding them is going to be like herding cats!

It's always hard trying to find discontinued tiles. And generally they change the ranges quickly to not only keep up with the trend, but to also encourage full re-tiling which clearly keeps the market going.

How big is the whole area? Perhaps consider re-tiling with cheap but nice looking tiles?

Or maybe even just half tiling with same tile size so that the top or the bottom (wherever you need tiles for) has a different colour tile to make it look a bit trendy?

Hard to give suggestions without knowing more. Have you installed a new bath that's a different size or something?

Hello there,
The dimensions are 20 x 25

I fit some with the same name a while ago but they were a different size and shading to yours, sorry.

Hi Dan,
I wrote a reply but it hasn't turned up on the screen.
We've considered all the options like you wouldn't believe. The problem is we ripped out half a wall inside the shower cubicle and just outside the shower cubicle. If it was one or the other we could either patch the outside with some saved tiles and similar ones concealed at the floor level and hide them behind stuff. Or, we could do a dual colour scheme if it was just inside the shower a make it a feature area - the trendy option you suggested. But because we have two zones missing tiles next to eachother we really need the same tiles or it's just going to look like an awful patch job. We can't really afford to rip out the entire bathroom right now, but maybe in future.

Oh no! Thank you for asking anyway! My boyfriend and our builder mate are discussing backup plans as I type. It's looking grim. I'm still going to try looking though! So much hinges on how many tiles we can salvage. There's a wall of mdf soaking in the bathtub right now in an attempt to help them off!! Not budging.

For some reason your post got automatically moderated, I'll get rid of the first one. Good luck with your tile finding quest!
