Well tell the flamin builder to do it himself then.......

Chuffing muppet builders. They are not the ones to get the phone call........you are.:mad2:

as it happens its already tiled theres part of a60+ grand kitchen sat on it,i tiled a separate part of the house and got asked to look at a cracked tile , when i took it up i found it had been tiled directly onto these partical boards, i raised my concerns with the builder , who obviously would not want to admit its wrong as this would mean havin to remove part of a kitchen to get the tiles out ,also overboarding would mean raising the hight of the floor its level at the moment with the 50m2 floor i've just tiled on the ajoining room , which i may add as been re-tiled by me already cos he got the same muppet that tiled onto the partical boards tile onto an anardrite screed without sanding and using cement based adhesives ,it failed and the builders already out of pocket putting it right , which means hes not going to want more cost coming his way .

Dont do it...BAD MOVE!!....too much movement and its bacisally like tiling onto cardboard!....it will end up a mushy messy moving mongle!!

why do you have to take out the whole kitchen? cant the plinths be removed and just tiled into the unit? if it is a unit that is

the kitchen got put in after the tiling was done the units are deeper too there freezes and fridges deeper then standard 600

DO NOT tile on to this board Shaun. Disaster waiting to happen. It needs covering with a relevant backer board prior to tiling otherwise YOU will be going back to sort it and not the builder
