Primer help

Hi guys, wonder if someone can help with wall primers!

I am re tiling our shower over the bath, tanking the 2/3 of the walls. Due to last minute plumbing issues we have changed the wall in which the shower will be installed, however the walls have already been primed. 😳

So now i have the old shower wall primed in tanking primer (from aquaseal tanking kit) that no longer needs tanking and the new shower wall primed in mapei plaster primer that requires tanking.

Does anyone know if it will be okay to go ahead and tile onto tanking primer using mapei keraflex addy, and also if its okay to apply tanking membrane to mapei plaster primer 🙄🙄🙄

Yes and yes. By the sounds of it.

You're mixing your brands up a bit which might void a guarantee or whatever. But should be fine if you've followed the instructions still anyway.

It will be ok, it's all the same stuff, acrylic primer
