Is this the best edge to expect on a cut ceramic tile?

I've had the glaze literally flake of some cheap ceramics as I'm scoring them !

I had trouble with some of those mosaic looking tiles. The only way I could get a clean cut was with by wet cutting so every cut was done that way. Took longer but if that's the only way to get an acceptable finish so be it.

I was fitting some cheap ceramics the other day , 300x100 , the glaze chipped with everything i cut it with, manual, wet, dry and my teeth
Must of been about a mm of glaze on top of the biscuit, Absulute crrap !

I've had with porcelenosa and they are not cheap

Most decent tilers will spend a lot of time and money researching and investing in cutters and discs that give the best possible finish when cutting tiles. I would say this guy doesn't, that said, without trying to cut one in person it's impossible to say how much better it could be.

Here is a Porcelanosa ceramic tile cut neatly around a niche. With the correct tools, technique and experience it is easily achievable. No excuses IMO

That looks fantastic. It's off topic and I will probably never do it but how did your get the tiles to stick on the ceiling of the niche? A high inital grab tile adhesive mixed quite thick or normal mix with a block of wood under it to support it.

Just normal tile adhesive has enough hold to hold them up

I had a few chips here but the grout colour hides a lot.

Is that the porcelanosa 11mm £60 a pop trims. Once did a bathroom with 12 of them cost a bomb.

Use normal adhesive, same as fixing rest of tiles with as others have said.

Yes, matching piece of worktop to basin top was used as a shelf to be able to access the cistern in the stud wall.
