Just done two bathrooms with those kind of tiles mixed with 12 x 3. As others have said, just add more time and then quote

Fair enough mate. I have fitted plenty of ghastly looking jobs.....well tiled of course, but bad taste. They like it which is all that matters!

It grew on me in towards the end, (after I'd put the 3800th tile in) but I always like it when people make bold decisions and do something a bit different

I always give the customer what they want... Doesn't mean I have to like it!
But that type of random bond can be quite effective ( and forgiving )
We as Tilers have to please all sorts😱😵😉
