Just wondering if anyone has had any issues ie shading of tiles, I am using Johnson 300x200 white ceramic tiles that are glazed but not high gloss, they have a white biscuit and not glazed around the biscuit, was requested by the customer to use mapei grey grout and was going to do a test board of tiles first to see if its ok, was wondering if anyone has had any issues doing this ??

Regards

Martin

Martin - it's always a good idea to test grouts that 'might' stain the biscuit.

It could also help the customer see that the dark grout will look naff:lol: IMHO.

The Laurels, Sevenoaks 002.jpg Did these with grey grout and they were cheap tiles and had no problems.

there are many grey grouts out there, from almost black to off white, tbo the lighter the better in this case. Have a look at the range that Mapei have, from your local Tile Giant.

Ha ha..funny you should say that, as in my photo the customer wanted grey grout...and just as i had finished she said she did not like it and wants white grout now.

and I did these without issue , can't remember who they were from, but not expensive in the £15-20 range I think
