it seems silly not to if you use flexi addy to put cement-board , de-coupling mem,down best to keep whole system flexi what do you do m8?:thumbsup:

you HAVE to use a flexi slc over u/floor for expansion and contraction!!!

not all say flexi....some say polymer modified....

but if you use a standard SLC (from wikes maybe) then it will not be suitable for u/floor....just for leveling concrete...

make sure it says suitable for u/floor on the bag!
 
well that killed that dead, i was going to see if i had a bite, did you know you can make you own flexi SLC by adding SBR! :yikes:
 
heres the thing.... i am pretty sure that from a concrete floor you can use any powdered adhesive to stick dietra, cementboard etc....
its what happens after that, that counts....me i only ever use flexi....on everything!

it may cost a few quid more, but no complaints or faliures as of yet!.......fingers crossed!
