Tilemaster , but have been using webber a bit with andy 🙂
Both very good , both rapids are good and the standard is great, but tilemaster top it for me
A because they are british born and bred( id say english, but don't wanna upset the welsh and scots 😉 )
B they are not bloody french 🙂

My brothers new tile showroom at Aycliffe will be stocking Tilemaster , wonder what my vote will be next yr lol..

Scrap that , another local company objected to him stocking tilemaster Lol lol.

granfix fast set flexi mainly on the floors ...good open time mixes really nice not gritty...granfix cfta slow on the walls for large stuff their cfta is really good gear imo.....the mapei is a true 2 hour addy just too much rushing with it but its ace for day job floors ..fancy a go with tilemaster soon

I'd closed the old threads and polls to save confusion. Because we'd recently replied to them to link to this poll, we had like 8 or 9 polls all in current discussion showing up when you click new posts. So it got a bit confusing for newbies. So I just locked them for now and Dave linked to the new thread to chat and vote etc.

Sorry mate. We just always link the polls together so people can see the change over the years.

We're actually the only place that even adhesive firms themselves can gauge the industry on let alone tilers.

And now looking back, I genuinely think we've ran the polls well (removing false votes and whatnot) and it does match what we see talked about on the forum and offline even.

Used to be all BAL. Then all Mapei. Then Mapei with some Weber. Then Mapei with Weber and TileMaster.

And you can see the other brands come and go as they give it a bash over the years.

So yeah; waffling now, but that's why we locked them. Because we cross-linked them all. lol

Tilemaster for me, most used is standard Setaflex. This maybe their lightweight next year as I've started to use more of this recently.
A very good company all round!

Granfix rapid flex is bludfy amazing stuff flexi as hell! I use bostic the most near enough every working day involves lugging two 20 ltr tubs around in the mornin lol

I mostly used a German make called botament, 25kg bags, really smooth and good working time.

Does it just appear this way to me or are there a lot less differen brands being used these days? Seems a couple of weeks into the older polls we've had half a dozen by now added to the options. This year it seems the main few literally get all the votes.

Ardex X77 local store CTD sell Mapei as well but they put be onto Ardex several years ago and not stopped using it, great adhesive but tbh not used a great variety of products. Went into CTD the other day to say Mapei seems to be the most popular, should I be using it ? they said they thought Ardex was better as it has great adhesion and goes further.

Stick to what you like ,and it does a good job

I used to use ultra all the time, rarely used anything else but since we started using CTD I seem to be buying pallets of weber and I think it's great stuff. Still use ardex when they have an offer on or if I manage to corner the rep and beat him down on a price per pallet
