best practice????

how to go about pleasing the customer. need a solution. customer doesnt want to be without their toilet for long while i am tiling, but obviously i would prefer it out to tile then replace once tiled and dry. 3 girls in the house. i suggested taking the systern off and flushing with a bucket of water for a few days. not too happy. any suggestions please. :mad2::furious3:

Take the cistern off as you say.......customer will just have to use a bucket to flush......a bit of give and take is needed here i think.....it won't hurt to use a bucket ...it's better than not having a toilet at all.......

As dave says then,common sense says this is the only way around it mate,customers often don't understand the inconvenience side of things..

main prob is the plumber is busy so is fitting bath tues and coming back weekend to change toilet and sink. in the mean time taking the old systern off and sink so i can tile that wall then replacing sat. which means bucket down bog for 4-5 days. i think i am just gonna have to tell him its just the way it is like dave says

Hi mate, if she is really being a pain then i would have used a rapid set and had it of and on in the day the plumber is there.

She might find that she saves some money on her water bill :lol: lol

Failing that you could always get them one of these

Have the plumber put the toilet and sink on ball fixes that way you can take them out at the start of the day and put them back at the end of the day,everyones happy.
