bathroom help

Hi,
Tiling a bathroom which has a new laid carpet and no current skirting around the perimeter of the room. If no skirting required could anyone advise as to the best way to finish down to carpet? May sound a stupid question and probably is! Thanks in advance of any advice.

New carpet before the tiling is done....:yikes:...take it up and tile to the floor leaving a small expansion gap...then re-fit carpet using grippers...

thanks...are you a welsh gooner or is that a crypticname..does that mean there are at least another 58 on this site!?

Thanks all for quick replies..never fails to amaze! I shall go with caution!
It may npt be a new carpet but in comparison to mine.....

is it bathroom carpet? if it is then there will not be any grippers the carpet should be down by its own weight or by systhentic spray adhesive. if its its own weight just lift back and tile to floor relay the carpet and using the back of your stanley knife score along the joint to create a grove, then either use a new blade or a good pair of scissors.... but cut the fall away pile first.
