Is a 'thin bed solid bed trowel' the correct choice for shower over bath area with 33x25 ceramics (It's not a power shower only mixer taps)

That topps one is 6mm and mainly for splash backs.. you will need super flat walls to get proper coverage..

8mm square notch is fine and lightly back skim tiles to get a solid fix.

Just to add, a cement based adhesive would be my choice

I would say 8mm would be OK, if in doubt fix a couple of tiles take them off. See what kind of coverage you get:thumbsup:

Cheers fellas very helpful as always,

Will do, it's new skim 4 weeks dry - I'm priming, tanking and then using bal single part flexible.
