as it says in the title?.....mine is my current car ..vauxhall Zafira 1.9tdi

great family car..7 seater and my kids quad goes in the back and 5 passengers can still get in.Comfortable, reliable and economical.

1st car is mine too. brand new corsa sxi. man that back seat saw some action!!

but not as much as the bonnet!!!

oh to be young again!!!

For me It would be my 1969 XT Ford Falcon Fairmont.

I actually had 2 of the same model 1 a six cylinder the other with a fully worked 351ci V8 stroked out to 383ci that was my Drag car.

The six cylinder was my favourite for Cruisin though It had the best sound system money could buy at the time, won many awards

ford escort mk6 1600i,wow that was a fast car, eventually wrote it off doing 40mph cause some tube left a bottle on road and it was pitch black!
i think i loved it more because she hated it,and all the boy racers:ban: thought it was the 1.4 range before watching the spoiler disappear into the horizon!

oh god i miss that car!:nopity:

a couple of gas guzzlers Mick,a weeks wage to fill the tank.lol:lol:

ooh..definitely my Toyota Starlet.

It was little 5 door hatchback I had sprayed shiny black adn someone gave me a little 'turbo' sticker to go on the back. It started without fail in all weathers, engine just purring along, had it for years and years but the body work deteriorated so much eventually I had to give it a burial service. It took me around England and Europe serveral times, with my little boy in tow, telling each other on the spot made up Rupert Bear stories. Lovely memories....

i've had a few and never really loved any of them to be honest...

i get easily bored and restless though so as soon as i buy one i want something different.
Currently driving an MG ZR but i want rid of this for a decent family car!

Current van is the best thing Ive owned (connect t230i) and havent really owned many cars, but I did have a Vauxhall Cavalier once that was just a superb drive. Not the classiest of vehicles, but drove like a dream.

loads of cars over the years from allegro`s to sporty mini clubman to present day stuff, but the best for practiallity and performance was our 55 plate zafira GSI turbo had a full hand made stainless exhaust, dump valve etc etc.which we sold in early 2007,it was great for chucking everything and everybody in,and great fun for when your sat at traffic lights when you get the boyracers in their highly modded 1.1 festa`s or the 1.4 saxo`s sat next to you with music blasting out and revving the nuts out of the engine wanting to race anybody and everybody. not that i`m condoning that sort of thing but it must be a proper kick in the teeth when a family 7 seater has just left them for dead :lol::lol:

My old XR3i in sunburst orange with me in it when i was slimmer and had more hair.:smilewinkgrin::smilewinkgrin:

hello hello hello hello,,,,,,,lmao:lol:

It was great, if the drunks played up in the back, I would take them back to the cop shop over every speed bump I knew, you should have heard them................lol

Hyundai Coupe 04 Plate SE. Not a performance car by any means but solidly built, looked great and was a pleasure to drive. Unfortunatley the boot wasnt aimiable to 2 dogs, so it had to go.

Peugoet 306 D Turbo,lovely black mettalic at 9 months old !!
others i have had are- fiesta,talbot sunbeam!!!(unreal),SRI Nova,SRI Cavalier,TDI Golf,and more ,lol. have had too many,current is VW Touran(7 seats),and my beloved van,lol.

have a 1.9dci megane 3 dr now, it's an ex demo and they threw all the extras in with it, 17" alloys, panoramic sun roof, multi track cd and all that jazz. It's a nice car to drive too!

An old Skoda.

Not mine, but a 19 year old Trainee Nurse's. I was 17.
Crap car..........but it had good rear seats :drool5::thumbsup::smilewinkgrin:

Present car goes like poo of a shovel. Pug 207 GT. Trouble is, the wife drives it all week, and then shouts at me when I go for a little burn in it :incazzato:

Had a cracker of an Fiesta XR2..........now that went like poo. Until the bottom fell out of it, and it failed its MOT 😳

others i have had are- talbot sunbeam!!!(unreal),

about 17 years ago two young lads that lived next door to me bought a right dog of a Talbot Sunbeam and spent (I kid you not) 10 months doing it up!! stripping it right back, rebuilding the engine, new interior the lot. At the time I never thought it seemed worth it. Finally the day came to when it was finished and joy flooded the whole street as we knew we could get some quite weekends without the sound of sanders of engine revving. It didn't last long 2 weeks later they wrapped it round a post box and it got dumped back on the driveway about 3 foot shorter. looking a complete mess for the next 3 years:mad2::mad2::mad2:

I had a 1985 Buick 3.0L v6 (so just a little one) I got done for doing 97mph on the slip road before i got on the motorway, i would still have it if the ECU had not packed in (happy times)

I see your big truck about town every so often John, thats one beast. Although i have to say, its easy to spot, do you thing it helps you get work becuase its recognisable?

the best i've ever had mechanically was a bog standard Fiat Punto 1.2 jobbie. Had it from new and ran it for 5 years with no problems.

the best car i've ever had performance wise was the Skoda Fabia VRS with the old passat 130bhp 1.9tdi engine in it, now that was a pocket rocket.

the current Volvo C30 2.4 D5 is by far the fastest car I've ever driven, but it's not as nippy as the Fabia... :drool5:
