i have laid quartz tiles with mapei granirapid 2 part, some of the tiles are not sticking,

any advice?

I've never used the granirapid, i've mostly used keraquick with no problems yet.
Was the back of the tiles dusty? did you clean them?
Did you back skim?

no did not back skim they may have been dusty from the cuts, 20 have been laid and only 3 have not stuck, will the others be ok? they seem to have stuck down well

hello
Granirapid is suitable for quartz tiles, but they have to be back skimmed definitely, sometimes these tiles are dusty even if you not cut them, they come like that in the box, so better to clean before skimming back of it, granirapid have really good bonding properties, so lets hope no more tiles will come up

duralay matting which it is sticking to great, but not sticking to the tile, 3 tiles have not stuck

Is your adhesive mixed by mixer? and not too dry?
You have to be so careful with these type of tiles.
Underfloor heating can even affect them too.

mixed by paddle mixer. used the 2 part , powder 15kg and latex liquid supplied i think was 4 litres

If only 3 loose then remove and replace with fresh adhesive.Take note of above advice about dust, depth of notch and back skimming.

So what was the mat laid down onto? Sounds to me that (as said above) either the mix was to dry or the tiles were dusty or maybe not bedded into the adhesive well enough.
