You can edit the pic size in Paint...

When you have sent the pic to paint ( option in right click)then click image( tool bar) and then attributes...this brings up the pic size and then you just change the values then save... job done..

Doing it that way will chop off the rest of the image outside of the 600 x 450 area though Dave, and will not just re-size the image.

In Microsoft Paint, open the image and select "Resize & Skew" then you have to mess about with the % of the picture size.

For most pics I find resizing down by 75% does the trick.

Sunroom, after builder 'finished' and before we cleaned and re-sealed
then after we cleaned and sealed
Hall before we've cleaned
Downstairs loo, after we cleaned and sealed - didn't let the builder near them!

Max image size for uploading is now 2400 x 1200px which should help a lot. Though I dare say many cameras if they're on their highest quality settings will produce images bigger, so they'll still have to be resized. There's just no point us hosting images twice as big as the computer screen or whatever if you need to scroll left, right, up and down to see all the picture. Plus it's a bigger cost for hosting with no benefit.

Hope that helps.

Re: Pics, before and after! - wide joint?

We'd asked for wide joints as the slates were not (remotely) flat, and I didn't want to be stubbing toes on raised edges, so the wider joints gave the builder some room to play. In hindsight, I'd have asked for grey grout for the grey slate. For downstairs loo, suspect that 3 tiles wide was easier than small 'bits' around the edges...
I live and learn! Would probably pay more for a better tiler next time... H.
