I ve been a tiler for 25 years and live in N.Ireland .
Im looking for a bit of advice ,
A costumer has requested that i change a border tile for her in a newly fitted bathroom ,
its sited appox halfway up the wall between a dark blue lower tile and a light top tile to the ceiling height in the bath area and then runs at the halfway height finished with a steel trim
for the remainder of the bathroom .
Its been tiled using OPF on to a drylined background .
Any advice on choice of grinder or multitool and which blades recomended would be greatly appreciated.
p.s the tiles are a standard soft clay biscuit with a glazed surface and grouted with microflex white joints appox1.5/2mm

Welcome along to TF. Are you just replacing one border tile (damaged) or the whole border (customer changed their mind)?

hi mate, there is a dremal type tool you can buy on line for the removing grout it does the job but blades/drill bits snap easy costs about £25

thanks guys for the advice yes i am replacing all the borders im afraid ,its a costumer /contractor problem and im just the fitter stuck in the middle
I think i ll purchase a bosch gop250 professional along with a 1.3 mm diamond blade and give it a go
I ll let you know how i get on .

:welcome: along, that's a pain stuck between a customer and builder.
I'v had it before and no one wants to pay you, lol.
