I was just leaving the job today when I bumped into a past customer, I did her house some 6 years back, anyway a quick chat and I was on my way, five minutes later I am in the van and stuck in traffic on my way to get Ellie, I was listening to the radio and was miles away, a car on the opposite side of the road was right beside me and I glanced at the driver, "mmm, I know him from somewhere, oh its Emma's hubby" I thought.
He wound down the window " hey up Dom, how are you mate" he asks
I replied that I had just left the office where his "missus was working"
He looked at me in puzzlement and motioned to the girl sitting next to him,

What could I say? I had got the wrong guy completely, I could hear his wife/girlfriend shouting at him in very colourful language, I drove off quick, red as a beetroot.

Still cant think who he was but his missus aint too happy.

😳

The thing is I am still racking my brain trying to remember who he was just in case she is packing his bags.

:mad2:

:hurray::lol::lol:😳good one , i said to a lady ,who i thought was pregnant ,hey not long to go now 😳,i got a very loud had a boy 3 months ago

My MIL continues to occasionally refer to the wife of her youngest son by the name of the fiancee that never married the same son. That break-up was about 10+ years ago. Talk about awkward at times!

my mother in law does something similar with her youngest son's wife Louise. she constantly refers to her as Joanne :mad2: Jo was a lovely girl, but that relationship only lasted a couple of years whereas bro in law and Louise have been going strong for at least 5 years

oh and if mil refers to me as Lydia, then I'll be throwing hubby out :incazzato:

liz, you're looking for any flimsy excuse you can find! 😀

liz, that's a good one for Memorial Day (next Monday).

Is there a Union Jack smilie? I need to post that when UK plays USA in the World Cup. My men tell me that UK looked very good against Mexico and likely we are going to have a tough one against the Brits.

I'm sure the boys will be able to find an appropriate smiley Rob... just don't try and support the UK as a football team, as there's no such thing  England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland.. we all have our own teams :hurray:

Only one winner between
flag45.gif
and
usa-flag-89.gif

And that isn't the usa..😛rrr:😛rrr:😛rrr:

I got a phonecall this morning from an irate mate asking what the flip I was talking about, I could only say sorry, his missus kept him up till 2am grilling him (he has been naughty in the past) I asked him why did he not ring me yesterday, his reply was "my missus nicked my mobile and checked all my messages"

😳 Sorry Shaun, Shane, Steve, still getting mixed up now.

:blush5:
