Mirka Washboy

Hi all

Has anybody used or own a Mirka Washboy?

They seem goodvalue.

I will not be using them all the time but want a washboy that will last, all views welcomeunk:

never heard of them . i would go go for karl dahm check out tradetiler. or raimondi washboy

I have a Mirak one so I guess the thread title is a typo. It is ok - does the job well for not a lot of money...however, I have got a Karl dahm sponge to use with it as the sponge you get with the Mirak one lasts about half an hour!

Get a KD or Raimondi Skipper if you're wanting it to last

Or go for whatever the other one the lads are saying but I've only ever used KD washboys.

I got the KD from tradetiler, I'll be using it for the first time next week so expect some new threads next week on the best way to use it!:yikes:

I have a Rubi one but I feel it holds too much water which makes me wary when lifting it in a customers house, think I will upgrade to the KD in future

my pal has the rubi one as well you have to fill nearly to the top , imo i think its crap, rollers keep falling apart ,wheels fall off

Have a Mirak one myself. You're better paying the extra for the Karl Dahm or similar quality, the Mirak one is very flimsy and the handle flexes when you fill it.

Ok all.
I'v had a raimondi washboy for 3 years! good and sturdy but the major problem is that the tray sits too high in it therefore you need plenty of water in there.
I now have the karl dahm and will never use anything else unless i see better !
absolutely brilliant piece of kit.(the tray sits low so no need to fill)
IMO the KD is the best available out there.
