looking new wet saw please recommend 1 !

curently using a plasplugs contractor plus wet saw thinking of upgrading to a new 1 over christmas loking some expert recomendations willing to spend a few hundred if it saves time some of those porcelain tiles are a * to cut! :furious3:

There is a big jump in price from Plasplugs IMO. The best logical step would be Rubi ND200

I've got a plasplugs master tiler and a rubi nd180, tbh neither have a problem cutting porc unless you let the blade start to run dry, i prefer the plasplugs, i like the internal water reservoir. Both have rubi cpc2 blades at the moment.

plasplugs is ok just like spending money on new kit once an a while!

are the pull saws quicker to use and are they worth the money they demand!

I have one of these......the ultimate flad bed saw.....1.2 hp motor and 200mm blade..with tilting bed for mitres....the gaurd just pulls out for plunge cuts......

this machine is around the £500 mark but well worth it...and it is fully stainless steel so no rusting..

Ive got a rexon wet saw about £85 700 watt motor great bit of kit lots of fixed angles for mitre's got it from Screwfix still going strong 2 yrs also got a bridge saw from topps about 8 mths ago for bigger stuff that was only £90

I've got a big QEP bridge saw from topps at £150 which I use for all the big stuff, too.

I've a rubi dw200 lps(110v)and a dw200lp(240v), they're good cutters but limited to tiles upto 750mm, could really do with a flat bed,tilting one tho' just to push big tiles through

Ramondi for me I've just bought a new 10 inch PIKUS 130 I've also got a Ramondi 12 inch Zoe 125 a 3 HP BEAST!!!. And lastly the baby of the group a Rubi dw200 which I've had for 20 years. Great saw but lacks capacity and PLUNGE!!!
