Hi All , I am trying to build a shower cubicle using the tray in the picture (super heavy ) at the corner here.
There are a couple of things i wanted to get some advice on before doing something wrong.
There will be a stud wall (orange ) and a glass shower door (blue)
What do I line the shower side of the stud wall up before tiling ? I take it normal plaster board will not be sufficient ?
The solid wall behind is missing some plaster/render in places as can be seen . Do i need to patch render the damaged area before tiling over this wall or is there an easier way like dot & dab a tiling board without even repairing the wall first ?
One last question , the shower tray is made of resin i believe and its around 40-50 kilograms.
Do i need to bed this in tiling adhesive etc ? If so what do I need to use exactly ?
Many thanks in advance everyone 🙂
