Eventually man invented a level and a square.
Add a pencil and a chalk line and you can do a layout in any room.
The level is an amazing instrument which can give you perfect horizontal and vertical lines.
If the room is way out of square you just find the 2 extremes then go halfway.
Do this on the floor and then use the level in vertical position to run the reference lines up the wall.
So why do you need a laser:whatchutalkingabout :huh2:.
I have several and strangely they sit at home most of the time.
The old tools are way quicker and tougher.
