Hi All,

I have a kitchen splashback to do tomorrow, 100x100 ceramic tiles, but they have a matt surface.

1. I haven't worked with these before and was wondering if grouting would be a problem or do I treat exactly as glazed ceramics?

2. Secondly the guy who's kitchen it is wants a border two tiles up made with mosaic tiles cut into strips. I should get away with the same tub adhesive (Bal Bluestar) shouldnt I?
I know you are meant to use mosaic fix but it is just one strip around the splashback.

thanks🙂

No problem whatsoever blue star for mosaic border...... ceramic tiles are still glazed if satin...grout small areas and wash down...if tiles are natural stone or slate then you must seal them...enjoy the job..Gaz

If using a flexi grout make sure you wash off well to avoid leaving any residue behind........dave..
