Going to look at a swimming pool

Diamond Pool Finishers

Tuesday that apparently the grout and adhesive has gone soft !!! What do you think could be the reasons ?? for this then ???

It's usually an indication that the pool Chemistry is not right,
A pool management issue .

Never say never mate lol there are loads of pools out there that need tiling and e-tiling and renovation 1000's and it s all good work

Used to do the heating on pools for a company called pine log in Derbyshire. The tilers took ages to do the bit at the waterline and above. Then below chucked tiles on without having to be as accurate.

Totally agree with your answer to your own question. Used to work in water treatment so in my opinion it could be one of three things
1. Free chlorine. Look for signs of discoloured grout.
2. calcium CaCO3 checking the tds (total dissolved solids) & the temp of the water would give you an idea if this was the cause.
3. and most likely pH of the pool water.
In my opinion it's probably the wrong pH of the pool water.
If i was installing swimming pools (which i can't) I would carry a pH meter and a TDS test kit. with me. a DPD test kit would also be an advantage.
