After some advice on an external corners that is running slightly out from bottom to top.

Should I cut the tiles to the greatest width? The edge will be covered by trim, just concerned that the other edge will sit slightly lower than the trim level.

Any advice appreciated. (diyer)

Yes cut to the greatest width, makes the finish much more pleasing to the eye.

If i haven't reboarded a window reveal to tile it then i build a timber frame knocked inti place around the edge of the window reveal.
Square it up and level it out and let the timber over hand the edge of the window a little. Take your tiles up to the timber. Once set, remove the timber frame, cut your trim to suit, then cut and fix your tiles around the inside of the window. Use a square (about 6 quid from wickes) to ensure your angles.

Squaring up and tiling a window reveal..............done!
