i went for a 1m cover the floor was not that bad in the end 25 foot by 10 foot i used
bal multibase floor leveling compound and bal pva post the pics up of the tiles going sunday to start laying them 🙂 steve f1

Fantastic images F1...I'm loving this tutorial for the newbies.Let's just hope the customer dosn't insist on BAL Microcolour Emerald grout !just to spoil the party..lol

do you not put the cuts in as you tile? i find it much quicker that way and easier than trying to serrate in small spaces

formula one, I noticed you seem to have put masking tape around the skirting boards which I presume is for protection. how would you get this off once you have finished tiling? This is a newbie asking, so pardon my ignorence.

Looking good there Steve, very neat on the cuts, As wayne says put the cuts in as you go along, the best way is to dry lay the last full row of tiles, then cut all the edge cuts in and number them, take up all of the full tiles and the cuts and trowel all the adhesive in then lay the the full tiles back down and the cut tiles against the wall, much quicker and easier, stops messing about trying to get the trowel and adhesive in the last edge bit.

wayne i have 5 days to finish this job so no rush i dry cut then mix my adhesive🙂

Good work f1 and good comments from Darren and Wayne,Darren had run out of the angle finders when i was on the course in March still not got one but will get one asap.Keep up the good work matey.🙂
