Just want to confirm I am doing the right thing!

I have 2 bathrooms in an new extension to tile.
The current flooring is 22mm chipboard floorboard.
My intentions are as follows.
Stick and screw down 6mm Dukka board using flexy adhesive.
Install UFH cable.
Cover with SLC.
Tile.

Is this the appropriate thing to do.
I did suggest 10mm Dukka but the customer wanted the threshold as level as possible.

Cheers peeps.

Exactly what I'd do.
Like you say 10mm would be better for insulating and decoupling but 6mm is better than nothing.
Some backer board need priming both sides, not sure about Dukka.
Good luck.

Screw do the chipboard if it isn't already. Check for pipes.....

HardieBacker board claim there board is good for under ufh wires, anyone know how this compares in insulation properties to conventional insulation boards?

Nmp say to use them too! Personally, I can't see rigid cement based boards being anywhere near as good for insulation.
I stand to be corrected though
