And on that note, I am so keen to learn as much as possible so is there any good links anyone can direct me to where skills are explained or discussed? Idealy tutorials, if any exist....

Have been looking around the forum here and there is a wealth of information and debate on methods, approaches, tools etc.
Just trying to digest it all and decipher what will work best for me for each job.

I must admit that I spent so much time running around over the past 9 months, grouting, cleaning up tools, shifting boxes of tiles from one end of the site to the other, that I didn't get as much quality time watching my boss in action as I would have liked.

Guess that's the price of being young and an apprentice.

It's only now I realise how important that time is and I will be making sure that I get that time with whoever I am luck enough to work with next !

Hi all,

Just to let everyone know, Big D aka Chris kindly gifted a Rubi TS60 cutter for me, it arrived during the week !!!

Chris, just wanted to say a huge public THANK YOU, to you for your generosity.
You have realy helped me out and I am sincerely greateful for what you have done.

I will get to use the cutter next week and will post some pics of the work when done.

Thanks to everyone again for the support, really means a lot.
