Well as some of you members might know.. i have tried alsorts of knee pads over the years from snickers to Gel pads and even rubi pro pads..

Nothing seemed to work to stop knee pain after a long day floor tiling etc.

So i bit the bullet and purchased some Alpro knee pads from Tradetiler.

Well i have been using them for about a week solid now and what i will say is that they are very comfortable and the straps sit around the calf muscle and not in the back of the knee , where they can dig in after a while.

And most of all NO!! knee pains ... So i highly recommend anybody who suffers from knee pain and other knee pads haven't worked to give the Aplro knee pads from Trade tiler a go..

I know i am so glad i did..

I hate to say it, but a lot of us told you so, thinking about a pair for myself, the last ones I wore were borrowed, having said that, my Sweeny Todd Blades are comfy, not as much as the Alpro IMHO though.

Pleased you got / are getting on well with them

Yes i was told so.. and i am glad i listened... this is the reason for the thread to show members the Aplro knee pads DO infact help with bad knees...

Sounds like an old advert!
What other tools would you like tested Dave - I'am up for a new rubber squeegee!

Mine have been going strong for near two years now i think Dave, the velcro is showing signs of wear but the pads are still damn good even with some bits off, lol.
Here's a tip, after grouting with your washboy a floor say, when you get up off your knees use the washboy sponge to clean the kneeling surface of the alpros, rinse the sponge and get them pads clean! works a treat and keeps them in good condition.

platinum for me, not only do they support your knees but also take added stress from your anckles......long preventitive pain or aches take your mind off the task in hand..........they work for me and im an old git. 5 foot six btw.

these look good, gone throo 2 sets of rubis last year they keep bursting, altho parting with 50 sheets for knee pads wasnt what i had in mind, you get what you pay for i suppose tho:thumbsup:

what worries me is there square , i seem to roll on my knees, the last ones i tryed were the gel pads and they were square, just gave them away!!they were horrible

OH!! I forgot to add i bought the Alpro kneeling pad as well...

But the wife claimed it...

the alpro knee pad is the best and most comfortable i have ever used stops those straps cutting into the back of the knees and can be moved around when ever you need it great bit of kit!

The last few weeks I've noticed my knees clicking a lot when I'm on them, have been thinking about getting a pair of these to see if it helps. Last thing I want is wrecked knees in my early 20s.

Well .. All i can say is i love mine... not had one knee pain at work since i got these and the night time pains have virtually gone as well .. just a bit stiffness but that is years of knee hammer... but deffo a lot better...they don't ache in my sleep now or shall i say it doesn't wake me up anymore..

I never thought i would get that much comfort... so all i can say is thanks to the guy who invented the Alpro kne pads..and Dave at TT for stocking them.

i think this will be the next pair i try, you guys have sold them to me,nothing ventured nothing gained as they say

I always get comments about my alpro kneeling pad, i have worked in many houses where the clients are nurses and care workers....They have all said its the comfiest pad they have tried nd on site i have lost count of how many other trades have tried the pad and cant believe how good it is.
I reckon my next order to to tradetiler will have a set of pads on now i know the straps dont dig in.

slightly off thread but, is it possible to get your X rays, would make good viewing as to why to wear knee/kneeling pads

you lot would not believe how many men i've let try on my alpros in the last couple of years, they all say wow !
they just look ugly but who cares when the work so well:thumbsup:

When my other knee pad wears out I think I could be tempted to get a pair of those Alpro Knee Pads from Dave at TradeTiler!
