I just spent 2 course days with Phil and they confirmed everything I thought about the man, an absolute pleasure to know, very likeable, very modest about his considerable tiling skills and like all the best people in their field always open to learn more and go that bit extra to improve their repertoire of skills. Meeting people like Phil explains without a shadow of a doubt what turns some people into experts, it's not luck or even extraspecial talent, it's dedication and enthusiasm, and Phil has has plenty. 4000 posts from a quality guy. He's my friend, he is 🙂

Thanks Mike, sorry to hear about your knees mate. Maybe you could get into teaching, those big floors are a killer twelve hour shifts on your knees, not good. I have been lucky my body seems to be lasting OK, how long for though I don't know.

My knees were bad before i even got into tiling mate,was why i never played for liverpool lol.
