30mm Terracotta tile.

I’ve seen the tile the customer wants fixed. It’s a 30mm terracotta tile. It is not real terracotta though. It’s a reconstituted type of tile. The company says it does not need sealing. I am still requesting more info on this tile. My question is, at 30mm is this more like a paving slab and should it be laid by a builder or tiler? Can they be grouted in the normal way?

The tile I saw was about 250x250x30, but I think there may be other sizes that form a pattern - so the customer says. Yes, I do need more info, but I don't fancy having to mix up cement with a mixer or laying tonnes of sand etc. I am talking about 25sqm of a patio with a concrete base. Anyway, you are right, I do need more info. Watch this space. Cheers.
